MOQ and Project Fit

MOQ follows the manufacturing route and the customization triggers. The final quantity is confirmed against the approved specification, tooling and packaging.

Standard Thermoformed Trials

A lower-MOQ route may be available when the project uses a standard shape, existing tooling, simple artwork and low-complexity packaging. The final MOQ is confirmed against the complete approved specification.

Cold-Press Custom Production

Cold-press and custom production MOQs depend on shape, materials, artwork, packaging, tooling and order complexity. Custom geometry or packaging can increase the threshold, cost or lead time.

Customization Matrix

Performance Specification

Structure: PP honeycomb cold press, thermoformed foam-edge, EPP or EVA plus EPP full foam.

Visage : fiberglass, UD, 3K, T700 or T800 carbon and selected hybrid surfaces.

Geometry: standard, widebody, elongated or edgeless shapes, with thickness and handle dimensions confirmed per model.

Brand and Packaging

Branding: artwork, UV print or water-decal routes, grip, edge guard, cap and finish options.

Emballage : stock box, printed color box, inserts, labels, carton marks and shipment preparation.

Packaging MOQs and any tooling are itemized at quote stage.

Sample, Production and Approval Boundaries

Sample and Production Timing

Sample charges and timing are confirmed after the structure, shape, artwork and packaging scope are locked. Mass-production timing is confirmed after sample approval, artwork approval, tooling readiness and packaging availability.

USAP and UPA-A Support

NexaPaddle can support design review and internal checks for dimensions, surface roughness, coefficient of friction and deflection. Official USAP or UPA-A approval is issued by the relevant body after its own submission and testing process; it is not guaranteed by an internal pre-check.

Five-Stage Manufacturing and QC

Production Flow

1. Design: requirements, engineering, tooling, artwork and packaging.

2. Forming: material preparation, layup, mold preparation and controlled forming.

3. Finishing: sanding, primer, color or print and protective top finish.

4. Assembly: component verification, labels, grip, edge guard and packing.

Batch Release Checks

5. Quality: approved-order sampling, weight, balance, hardness or elasticity, appearance, packaging method and label accuracy.

Acceptance criteria and any batch tolerances should be written into the approved specification before mass production.

What to Send for an Actionable Quote

Share the target market, player segment, expected quantity, target retail tier, preferred construction, shape, artwork, packaging, compliance target and launch date. If some fields are open, ask for two or three structures that fit the same SKU job. Before supplier qualification, review our Supplier Proof & Factory Evidence Hub.

OEM Buyer FAQ

How is MOQ determined?

MOQ follows the manufacturing route and customization scope. Existing tooling and simpler packaging generally allow more flexibility than new molds, custom structures or specialized packaging. The final quantity is confirmed against the exact specification.

What changes the MOQ or adds tooling?

Custom shapes, size changes, dedicated thermoforming molds, printed color boxes, insert trays, molded logo parts and special edge-guard requirements can change cost, MOQ or timing.

When is the production lead time confirmed?

After the sample, artwork, tooling and packaging path are approved. The quote should separate sample timing, production timing and shipping transit.

Can you guarantee tournament approval?

No factory pre-check replaces official testing. NexaPaddle can support specification review and internal checks, while USAP or UPA-A makes the final approval decision.
